Ever wanted to navigate the streets of Havana like a local?
Here's your cheat sheet to the different types of taxis plying its streets...

Yellow: Newest and the most expensive. The drivers typically target tourists (Vedado to Havana Vieja cost ~CUC10)
Black and Yellow: Typically older Ladas operated by private individuals. Their condition varies. (Vedado to Havana Vieja cost ~CUC5-8)
Old Classics: My personal favourite and can be flagged down to share with other passengers. The standard route is from Vedado to Capitolio (near Havana Vieja) for a cost of CUC0.50 per person.
